RE: Your Participation in the 2019 Staff Engagement Survey is Important!
Can you set aside a few minutes today to respond to the 2019 Staff Engagement Survey? We want to receive your feedback on matters that are important to staff! Exactly 1,000 UCSB staff members received an invitation to participate in the 2019 Staff Engagement Survey, and as of yesterday, we are still waiting for ~568 staff members to submit their responses! Please don't miss this opportunity to inform us about matters that are important to employee engagement here at UC Santa Barbara! Currently, UC Santa Barbara's response rate is 44%, which is higher than all of the other UC campuses, with the exception of Merced, where their response rate is 47%. Please take a few minutes to locate the survey in your email, and complete it now!
If you are not certain whether you received the survey invitation, please follow these steps.
1. Search your email for survey.invite@willistowerswatson.com or by subject line for “University of California 2019 Staff Engagement Survey” You may want to check your Spam folder also.
2. If you received an invitation to participate, you will have received the email on Monday, May 13th, and reminder email messages on May 20th and May 28th.
3. Open any of the email messages listed above (either the recent reminders or the original email invitation from May 13th) and click on the link within the email message to access the survey.
I want to assure you that the sender of the survey email, Willis Towers Watson, is UC’s trusted partner and the survey link is legitimate and secure.
Your participation is important. Willis Towers Watson does not report individual names or opinions, so your answers will remain strictly confidential. Your responses, combined with others, will help UC Santa Barbara leadership understand what’s important to you and what’s working well or needs improvement. The survey deadline is June 7, 2019. Thank you in advance for participating in the 2019 Staff Engagement Survey!
Additional information:
The survey was developed by the Council of University Staff Assemblies (CUCSA) in collaboration with systemwide Human Resources and Willis Towers Watson, an independent consulting firm specializing in employee surveys and research. The survey asks for your opinions about a range of topics that focus on employee engagement. Your views are very important and provide direct feedback that will help shape how we will all work at UC. This is the fourth systemwide UC Staff Engagement Survey. The first was conducted in 2012. Survey participants were randomly selected from policy-covered staff members. Results were shared with Senior Leadership at UCOP as well as the Chancellors or senior administrators at each location.
