Re:  Discussion regarding impact of natural disasters on UCSB community and resources

Human Resources recognizes that coping with emergencies such as catastrophic wildfires and mudslides can result in anxiety, stress, grief, and other forms of distress that may be impacting your work and overall well-being. Please join us on Friday, January 19th from 12:05-12:50 pm in the Human Resources Learning Center (3101 SAASB).  Dr. Kirsten Olson, Academic & Staff Assistance Program (ASAP) Manager, will be facilitating a panel discussion for the community to gather and learn about the impact of traumatic events, services for staff, faculty, and students, and ways to support each other and the community.

If you are interested in attending the panel, please RSVP to asap@hr.ucsb.edu. The panel discussion will also be shared via Zoom for those who cannot attend in person.  To join the Zoom session, use this link: https://ucsb.zoom.us/j/116140558
