RE: Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Search Advisory Committee, Call for Nomination
The Chancellor's Staff Advisory Council (CSAC) and Staff Assembly seek to fill a staff representative position on the Search Advisory Committee for the next Director of Intercollegiate Athletics, no later than April 5, 2022.
Director Charge:
The Director of Intercollegiate Athletics is responsible for the development and overall administration of the intercollegiate athletics program, which includes 20 sports teams. The Director reports directly to the Chancellor and is responsible, in consultation with the Intercollegiate Athletics Policy Board (faculty, staff and student advisory committee to the Chancellor), for the formulation and implementation of all athletics policies, including strategic planning, fundraising, and financial management of the athletics program, all in keeping with the rules and regulations of the NCAA and the University. The Athletics Director has the responsibility to oversee all intercollegiate athletics personnel actions consistent with established university policies and procedures.
