RE: Back to School Support for Parents of school age children
Work-life is excited to share with you a new resource on the Myfamily.ucsb.edu website: The Afterschool Care & Activities Guide is here to help you navigate through this busy season. After School options, solutions for school holidays and early release days — Whatever you’re going back to this fall, we’ve got your back.
In addition to the after school guide, the new page has simple steps to start the school year right: helping you prepare your child and your home, build positive relationships with teachers, as well as tips to help your child with the big transitions that come with a new school. Articles available for every stage from preschool through college.
If after making your school year plan, you find you have some days without care, or need to fill a gap: Book care you can rely on at a Bright Horizons center or with in-home providers. Plus, there are no backup care copays for care provided from September 1 - October 31, 2022! Visit: https://clients.
