 RE: Open Enrollment 2022: Take a fresh look at your benefits

 

Open Enrollment, which begins at 8 a.m. on October 28 and ends at 5 p.m. on November 19, is your opportunity to review your UC benefits and make changes for 2022.

As in past years, UC continues to offer high quality benefits with some changes and enhancements.  To assist you in reviewing your benefits, UC is excited to introduce ALEX , your new personal benefits coach — helps find the plans that fit you best.  While UC continues to pay the majority of premium costs for faculty and staff, there are moderate changes for some plans.

 

2022 OPEN ENROLLMENT HIGHLIGHTS

New deadline: Make your elections by Friday, November 19 at 5 p.m.

·       ALEX is available on your computer, tablet or smartphone to walk you through your benefits choices, answer your questions and offer personalized, confidential benefits guidance.   

·       New pharmacy benefits manager for self-funded PPO plans. Navitus Health Systems will replace IngenioRx for UC Care, UC Health Savings Plan, CORE

·       ARAG Benefits changes this year include enhanced family services (such as child support and alimony enforcement and child support modification) and increased general office hours.

·       UC’s vision plan pays more contact lens costs.

·       Critical Illness plan: New coverage for Human Coronavirus

 Complete details, including the 2022 medical rates, are available on the UCnet Open Enrollment website and Open Enrollment booklets, mailed to employees later this week.
