Individuals with autism are increasingly entering higher education settings like UCSB.  Come learn about the autism spectrum and how it can present in adulthood.  We will discuss neurodiversity, common characteristics of young adults on the autism spectrum, and obstacles that they might encounter when navigating the university setting.  You will also learn about available campus resources for individuals with autism as well as support for those who care for someone with autism.  Programs and services offered by the Koegel Autism Center will be detailed.
