2018 Service Milestone Reception on June 5th

RE:      2018 Service Milestone Reception on June 5th

Human Resources, in collaboration with the UC Santa Barbara Service Milestone Committee, is hosting a reception on June 5th to recognize career staff members who have reached a service milestone between the months of November 2017 and May 2018.  This is the first time for this event and we are excited to be able to host it.  Invitations have been sent to over 200 service award recipients and approximately 100 have RSVP’d for the reception.  The service award recipients have been encouraged to invite their coworkers and supervisors/managers to attend with them; however, any UC Santa Barbara employee can join as a member of the audience if you are interested.    

Human Resources continues to encourage departments to recognize the service milestones of their staff throughout the year, and this not intended to replace similar departmental activities that are in place.  This event is being piloted as an annual reception to celebrate UC service milestones for staff across the campus.
