RE: Learning Journey ‘24-’25 Staff Speaker Series - Part 2

UCSB Human Resources is pleased to announce a Speaker Series designed to educate and inspire our university community. This series will offer insights and strategies for understanding and navigating differences and fostering effective communication across diverse perspectives. Through a three-part learning journey focused on awareness, skill development, and practical application to support a campus culture characterized by inclusivity, belonging, unity, and understanding.

Join us for the second installment of this learning journey coming up on Wednesday, January 15 at either 9:00AM or 1:00PM at the Loma Pelona Center. We will be hosting Dr. Alonzo Kelly as he speaks on “The Power of Language & Critical Thinking: The Start that Stops Most People.” This is an incredible in person skill building opportunity and we look forward to your participation.
