Eligible, non-probationary career staff are invited to submit proposals requesting funds to support professional development.
- Generally, scholarship awards will be granted up to $500 per proposal to a maximum of $500 per person per year. Other amounts may be considered.
- Scholarships may be used for courses, training and other learning opportunities offered at UCSB such as undergraduate and graduate courses, Extension courses (including Concurrent Enrollment), Supervisory Certificate Program courses, Instructional Computing courses, Contracts & Grants courses, and UCSB-affiliated conferences held at UCSB.
- Scholarship applications are invited for summer, fall, winter and spring professional development activities taking place during the current fiscal year (July 1-June 30).
