To PPS Preparers and Reviewers:

An SRB and furlough calculation worksheet is now available on the furlough website:

Look for the link directly under the Furlough Table.

You might find this tool particularly useful for part-time and split-funded situations. Plug in the dist % of the REG distribution for which you are establishing an SRB distribution (in the correct banding, of course) and voila! The worksheet will calculate the corresponding SRB% and total furlough hours (per year and per month).

Please note that the furlough hours per month is approximate, based on participation during the full 12-month furlough period. For actual hourly accrual on a month-per-month basis, please refer to the hourly accrual rates on the charts at the end of the Implementation Guidelines and PPS Procedures:

There are separate charts for Faculty and Staff & Non-Faculty Academics. Be sure to use the correct chart and banding. An example is provided at the bottom.
