SUBJECT: "It's About Time!" - Staff Time Policy Workshop
Ever struggled with Staff policy issues about time? Like overtime? Travel time? Work time vs. paid time? How do you calculate sick leave earned for a partial month? Who's eligible to earn vacation, and how much? What are the rules for holiday eligibility and pay? When is overtime "straight" and when is it "premium"? What resources are available for finding the answers to these questions?
Human Resources will be offering a workshop addressing these "timely" issues. We'll be looking at definitions, eligibility rules, calculation formulas and campus practice on a wide range of time-related topics. This workshop is intended for office managers and PPS users who are interested in a refresher course on understanding and applying policy to Staff time reporting.
The workshop will be given at three different times in the Human Resources Learning Center (SAASB 3101):
