1 in 150 children are now diagnosed with autism. This workshop will touch upon topics on the autism spectrum disorder, a complex developmental disability that typically appears during the first three years of life and affects a person's ability to communicate and interact with others.

Dr. Lynn Koegel from the UCSB Koegel Autism Center will discuss:
1) What is autism? What are the signs?
2) What resources are available?
3) Myths and realities of autism
4) Q&A
