- Advice regarding staff performance, attendance or conduct problems.
Interpretation of union contracts, agreements & UC policy and procedures. - Questions about collective bargaining and union activity
- Responding to staff complaints and grievances
Employees
Employee & Labor Relations provides information and assistance to staff on employment issues, including informal dispute resolution of concerns related to employment status.- We provide information and referrals for represented employees as well as answer employee questions about union contracts, agreements & UC policy and procedures

- We administer the campus’ emergency loan program for career staff employees.
- Employee & Labor Relations is also the campus’ designated office for the filing of formal grievances and complaints by staff employees pursuant to personnel policies and collective bargaining agreements. Please call 893-4119 for assistance.
