The purpose of this project was to assess and improve Human Resources' efforts in assisting departments recruit, retain & diversify staff. In order to accomplish this, we measured Human Resources' internal work processes regarding recruitment, retention & diversity. Some of the questions we attempted to answer were: "Can we measure the quality of our recruitments and the services we provide to campus?" "What current actions do we take to retain staff?" "What are we doing to assist supervisors & managers diversify their staff?" We then teamed with campus managers and supervisors to share what our internal processes were, asked for suggestions on ways to improve, then implemented those changes that were within our means. These partnerships have provided us with a forum to discuss continued recruitment, retention & diversity issues. In the following pages you will find many of the data we evaluated to improve our services. For additional questions regarding these documents please contact us.
