UCSB Highlights
The University of California, Santa Barbara became a member of the prestigious University of California system in 1944 and in little more than half a century has become an internationally renowned center for teaching and research. The University of California multi-campus system encompasses 10 campus locations throughout California, five medical centers, three Department of Energy national laboratories and the UC headquarters office in Oakland.
