Point Factor Evaluation System for Clerical/Administrative Series
The following point factor system has been designed exclusively to assist departments in making classification decisions regarding the appropriate level of their clerical and administrative positions. Within each of the following four Factor categories there are four levels or grades (detailed within) that correspond to a range of tasks ranked from lowest to highest. Points are awarded for each Factor category by matching job description duties with the appropriate level within each category. The correct classification level will be determined by adding the points for all factor categories and comparing the total with the Point-Factor Matrix below:
